Russian Math Genius Perelman Refuses $1m Prize

Grigori Perelman The Russian math genius Dr Grigori Perelman has turned down a one-million-dollar prize from the Clay Mathematics Institute.

The 44-year-old Russian, who solved the world's toughest math problem(Poincare Conjecture) , refused the $1 million prize for his lack of interest in money or fame.

"He said he would let me know at some point," stated Jim Carlson, president of the US-based Institute.
