For thieves to attack a National police Head Quarters successfully is a premier worthy for the Records. It's like an Imam conducting a pontifical high mass at St Peter's square in Rome on Christmas day or The Pope leading a Friday prayers in Mecca during The Hajj.
Don't ask me what happened to the security in the Security head quarters or is it insecurity in an insecure head quarters? They surely must have been busy taking bribes,assassinating unarmed citizens, sleeping or just taking protective cover during the whole robbery. 'Remarkable' cowards!!!

National Security: Insecurity in the Police Head Quarters
02/12/2008: Thieves are said to have ransacked some offices of the Head Quarters of the Delegation of National Security in the night of the 27th to 28th November 2008.
A communiqué signed by the Delegate General for National Security, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o gives details of the incident.
The Delegate General indicated that the culprits searched the offices of the Sub Directorate of Financial Affairs, the Cash Counter Service, Store Accounting Service, the special Department of Service Control, and the Service of Intervention of the Department of Frontier police among others.
According to the communiqué, a number of windows were damaged in the process of invading the offices; the Cabinet of the Delegate General of National Security however remained intact.
Investigations are on going especially following the disappearance of an automatic pistol belonging to an official who claims he had kept it in the drawer of one of the offices visited. The Delegate General has ordered an inquiry into the theft.
