There is now a very heavy deployment of troops in Limbe, following an early morning raid on banks in the city. A group of heavily armed men of the underworld early Sunday, September 28 laid siege on some banks situated in Down Beach, Limbe for about three hours.

In a shoot out during the early morning raid, a lady was shot dead while three banks, Amity , Societe Generale (SGBC) and SCB-Credit Agricole were intensely attacked, ransacked and robbed at varying degrees.

One of Africa's autocrats Robert Mugabe recently breathed a sigh of relief as opposition guru Morgan Tsvangirai agreed on a deal to share power.
Zimbabwe's political impasse coupled with its economic situation have been an embarrassment,not only to Africa, but the whole world. Flawed elections and a skyrocketing inflation left this once prosperous African nation in ruins. 82-year-old Mugabe just did what other African autocrats are fond of doing- aiming to cling to power till death.
Compromise politics has been his way out of this mess.
Morgan Tsvangirai of the MDC party has been designated Prime Minister while Professor Mutambara( middle picture) of the other faction of MDC becomes the Deputy Prime Minister.
How will this compromise salvage the situation of common Zimbabweans? We will be all ears!
